Two checks stand between you and a bad hire — a licence search and an insurance certificate. Neither is done for you here, and this page says so plainly.

What happens to your enquiry

No one at poolremovalmandurah.com.au removes pools or strips out rooms. Ring (08) 9516 1339 or send the form and your details are passed to an independent local contractor serving Mandurah and the Peel, who then deals with you directly — their quote, their contract, their invoice, their crew, their responsibility. The site's operator is not the contractor, employs no contractor, and signs nothing between you and them.

Vetting: not done here — your two-item checklist

Stated as bluntly as it can be: the operator does not confirm the licences, registrations, insurance, competence or history of anyone a referral reaches. Nothing anywhere on this site claims, or should be read as claiming, that a referred contractor is licensed or insured. So before work is booked with anyone — from this site or the back of a ute — run this checklist yourself:

  • [ ] Licence, verified at the source. Where the job touches licensed work — asbestos removal above all: 10 m² or more of bonded material, or any friable material, is strictly licensed-removalist work in WA — confirm the current licence directly with WorkSafe WA (worksafe.wa.gov.au). Take a licence number and search the regulator's records; a laminated card proves nothing.
  • [ ] Insurance, evidenced on paper. Ask for a certificate of currency for public liability cover (plus workers' compensation where relevant), issued by the insurer, in date, naming the business quoting you. "Yeah mate, fully covered" is not a document.

A contractor who can't produce both quickly has answered a different question for you. Move on.

Guide bands are not promises

The dollar figures, approval sequences, suburb observations and timing estimates published here are general information, dated on each page, for the Peel region only. They are not quotes, engineering opinions, legal advice or building advice; councils and regulators apply the Building Act 2011 (WA) and WA's safety laws to individual properties in ways no webpage can pre-empt. No permit, approval or register outcome is guaranteed by anything written here, and no price band binds anyone. Your council settles approvals; a written quote settles price.

Asbestos: the line this site will not cross

This site publishes no method, tip or workaround for disturbing asbestos, ever. If your pool fencing, sheds or surrounds date from before 1990, treat suspect sheeting as asbestos until a test says otherwise, and leave confirmed material to a WorkSafe WA licensed removalist. There is no version of that job worth doing yourself.

Responsibility for the work itself

To the fullest extent the law permits, the operator carries no liability for the acts, omissions, workmanship, pricing, delays, conduct or insurance status of any independent contractor engaged after a referral, nor for loss from reliance on the general information here. Your remedies for defective work sit where your contract sits — with the contractor — backed by the Australian Consumer Law, which nothing on this page narrows.
